One of my all-time favourites — water lilies. They offer only a quiet glimpse of themselves. A short-lived beauty, yet when they bloom, they bloom fully. Their beauty is extraordinary, made even more meaningful by how briefly it lasts. Because they appear for such a fleeting moment, you learn to appreciate them more when they choose to reveal themselves. I’ve always made sure to have a pond at home just so I could witness these blooms. Today, I have four — yellow, white, strawberry and blue.

Printed using archival pigment ultrachrome inks on acid and lignin-free matte 190gsm paper. All prints are trimmed to image edge. Please let me know if you would like a white border.
